Corporate Amateur Cricket Tournament (CACT)
Founded in 2011, the Corporate Amateur Cricket Tournament (CACT) was created to give corporate professionals a platform to relive the excitement of competitive cricket. Over the years, it has evolved into the longest-running corporate cricket tournament in Bangladesh, uniting teams from diverse industries under one shared passion — the beautiful game.
A Tournament Built on Passion and Professionalism
CACT is proudly organized by the Corporate Amateur Cricket Association (CACA), maintaining the highest standards of fairness, organization, and sportsmanship. With over a thousand matches successfully completed, the tournament has become a benchmark for quality and consistency in the amateur cricket scene.
Formats and Facilities
CACT is played across two formats — T20 and 40 Overs — offering both fast-paced action and classic one-day style competition.
All matches are held at top-tier venues like BKSP, featuring:
* Professionally prepared turf wickets by accredited ground staff
* BCB-accredited umpires and scorers
* Live electronic scoring for real-time match updates
Celebrating Excellence
Performance and spirit are recognized throughout the tournament with awards for Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Man of the Match, and Player of the Tournament, alongside a Fair Play Award for the most disciplined team. The season culminates in the annual Cricketer’s Night, where achievements are celebrated in the presence of renowned former national players.
The Spirit of CACT
What makes CACT special isn’t just the cricket — it’s the camaraderie, the respect, and the passion shared by everyone involved. With each edition, we continue to raise the bar and create memorable experiences for those who still cherish the thrill of the game.
